ABOUT THE ROLE
This is an exciting time for us as we continue to elevate our digital content offering ahead of a massive summer of international and domestic cricket. As our new casual Video Editor, you’ll create world-class cricket content that engages fans across our digital platforms, transforming live match vision, archive footage and exclusive access into compelling stories. If you consider yourself a creative storyteller with a passion for sport and innovation, we want to hear from you.
The performance of our digital content team is largely driven through our ability to respond and create high quality content in-season, and we're looking for someone with the creativity, energy and attention to detail to help make the 2026-27 season a successful one.
Reporting to the Digital Video Lead, you’ll be responsible for:
- Editing exciting highlights packages from cricket matches, sourcing match vision and observing duration and geo-targeting restrictions as required
- Using footage from live matches, archive, player-driven opportunities and exclusive access to cricket events in Australia and around the world to create timely and compelling video content
- Understanding emerging digital content trends and their relevance and using this knowledge to ideate and suggest video ideas for timely release
- Ensuring output is cutting-edge and comparable with elite global sporting examples
- Executing integrated and strategic content requirements, delivering consistent outcomes for a variety of commercial and other stakeholder needs
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- 2+ years’ involvement in creating highly engaging video content
- Advanced editing skills, ideally using Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects
- A self-sufficient work ethic and proven ability to liaise with multiple stakeholders
- Excellent organisational skills and an ability to execute to tight deadlines
- Willingness to work weekends and public holidays when necessary
- A working knowledge of and passion for the game of cricket
