Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Reporting Analyst II to support enterprise reporting, business intelligence, data analysis, and production reporting operations.
This role will focus on Power BI, SQL, Databricks, data validation, reporting support, incident management, dashboard analysis, and process improvement. The ideal candidate will be able to investigate reporting and data issues, identify root causes, communicate findings clearly, and coordinate resolution across business and technical teams.
Key Responsibilities

Support enterprise Power BI reports, dashboards, KPIs, paginated reports, refreshes, and subscriptions.

Analyze business and operational data to identify trends, discrepancies, and improvement opportunities.

Use SQL and Databricks to investigate reporting issues and validate source-to-report data.

Perform data reconciliation, validation, and expected-versus-actual analysis.

Troubleshoot report failures, refresh issues, data discrepancies, access concerns, and production incidents.

Determine whether issues originate from source data, processing, report logic, configuration, security, or user interpretation.

Monitor reporting operations and coordinate resolution of service disruptions.

Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, metrics, and performance indicators.

Gather reporting requirements from business stakeholders and subject matter experts.

Communicate findings, impact, status, and recommendations to both technical and business audiences.

Maintain accurate ticket records, support documentation, runbooks, and knowledge articles.

Support report releases, production validation, and post-deployment monitoring.

Identify opportunities to improve reporting processes, data quality, and operational efficiency.

Support compliance, audit, and controlled reporting requirements.
Required Qualifications
-
5–10 years of experience in reporting, business intelligence, data analytics, business analysis, or related work.

Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Business Analytics, Business Administration, Finance, or related field.

Strong experience with Power BI or a comparable BI platform.

Hands-on SQL experience for analysis, reconciliation, joins, filters, and aggregations.

Experience with Databricks or a comparable cloud data platform.

Strong data analysis, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including lookups, PivotTables, and reconciliation.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to translate technical findings into clear business recommendations.

Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively across business and technology teams.
Preferred Qualifications
-
Hands-on experience supporting Power BI dashboards, semantic models, refresh schedules, access, and production issues.

Experience with Databricks SQL, Delta Lake, data lineage, or lakehouse architecture.

Experience with Microsoft Fabric or enterprise data warehouses.

Experience with ServiceNow, Jira, Remedy Helix, or similar ticketing systems.

Experience with Autosys or enterprise scheduling tools.

Familiarity with SOX-controlled or regulatory reporting.

Experience with Lean Six Sigma or process improvement methodologies.

Utility, billing, customer operations, financial, or field operations experience is a plus.
