Job Description
As a Security Officer Identity Management in Boca Raton, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a residential community, you will help create a welcoming, security-related environment by monitoring entry points, verifying access, and assisting residents, visitors, and vendors. You will maintain a professional presence, communicate clearly, and help address access-related concerns while supporting Allied Universal’s values of agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, caring, and integrity.

- Provide exceptional customer service to residents, guests, vendors, and/or visitors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
- Control access to the residential community by verifying authorized entry, monitoring gates and/or access points, and documenting visitor, vendor, and delivery activity in accordance with site procedures.
- Respond to incidents, resident concerns, access issues, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and/or emergency services when needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of residential common areas, parking areas, perimeter locations, and access points to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
- Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation, and communicate relevant information to site management and incoming personnel.
Minimum Requirements:
- At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
