  • Ensure employees understand their responsibilities, expectations, and priorities and hold individuals accountable for results and commitments.
  • Monitor work progress throughout the shift and proactively address issues that could impact safety, quality, cost, or delivery.
  • Lead daily production meetings, shift start meetings, safety discussions, and work planning activities.
  • Provide hands-on leadership and technical guidance to technicians, tradespeople, and assembly personnel when required. Support employee training, qualification, cross-training, and development to improve overall team capability and flexibility.
  • Identify performance concerns early and provide timely coaching, feedback, and corrective direction.
  • Maintain compliance with applicable health and safety requirements and reinforce safe work practices.
  • Ensure required inspections, testing, documentation, and production records are completed accurately and on time.
  • Coordinate with Engineering, Quality, Production Planning, and Project teams to resolve technical and production issues.
  • Contribute to reviewing manpower requirements and appropriately allocate resources to meet production and project commitments.
  • Support root-cause investigations and implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives focused on reducing rework, improving first-time quality, and increasing productivity.
  • Ensure tools, equipment, test equipment, materials, and work areas are maintained in a safe and organized condition.
  • Foster a respectful, professional, and collaborative working environment.
  • Lead by example and demonstrate integrity, professionalism, accountability, and a results-focused approach.
