Senior Applications Engineer

Job Summary & Responsibilities

(1)    Take ownership for local activity at Rapidus as Metrology Application Engineer.
(2)    System installation, new feature software introduces, system use case training, troubleshooting as key activity.
(3)    Work for OCD/TF modeling activities as secondary priority.
(4)    Communicate with customer very closely and find their demand and required improvement by native Japanese Language.
(5)    High motivation / responsibility / Loyalty
(6)    Working closely with Service team to solve Escallation issues.
(7)    Early morning or late-night internal conference call if needed in case escalation issue.

Qualifications

(1)    Native Japanese speaker, English communication skills.
(2)    Ability to take initiative and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
(3)    Essential skills in planning, troubleshooting, and organizational management to ensure smooth workflow.
(4)    Ability to actively collaborate and cooperate with internal stakeholders and customers to execute projects.
(5)    Ability to conduct systematic troubleshooting to identify root causes, determine solutions, and perform thorough verification.
(6)    Bachelor degree or Master degree in Materials Science, Physics, Chemistry, Electrical Engineering, or Chemical Engineering.
(7)    Eagerness to engage with new technologies.
(8)    Willingness to travel regularly to customer sites and participate in overseas training.
