Job Description:

  • Tools: Anwenderkenntnisse in gängigen Engineering-Tools (z.

Kein 100%iges Match? Kein Grund zur Sorge! Airbus unterstützt Ihre persönliche Entwicklung mit maßgeschneiderten Entwicklungslösungen. Wir freuen uns darauf, Sie kennenzulernen!

Join our team as: Airframe / Vehicle Systems Integrator (m/f/d)

Your Tasks:

  • Architecture & Concept Definition: Contribute to the creation of airframe and vehicle architectures and support trade-off studies to identify optimal solutions regarding performance, manufacturing, cost, and operability
  • Integration & Interface Management: Assist in the physical and functional integration of main components. This includes participating in interface management, cross-functional coordination (e.g., between engineering and manufacturing), and maintaining the maturity of the Digital Mock-Up (DMU)
  • Requirements & V&V: Participate in defining and cascading technical requirements across levels. Support verification and validation (V&V) activities to demonstrate compliance with safety and airworthiness regulations (e.g., CS25)
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with adjacent engineering disciplines across interfaces and contribute to the timely execution of work packages within the engineering plan
  • Lifecycle Support: Provide support across the entire product lifecycle – from early concept studies to series support and continuous product improvements
  • Conceptualization & Tolerances: Analyze tolerance chains in connection with assembly steps and integrate these insights into trade-off studies and design decisions

Your Profile:

  • Qualifications: Completed degree (Bachelor's / Master's / Diploma) in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a comparable field of study.
  • Professional Experience & Knowledge: Initial or multi-year experience in system architecture or systems engineering. Good understanding of interface management, physical integration, and design-to-requirements. Basic technical knowledge in general mechanics, structures, and materials, as well as initial exposure to airworthiness and certification topics. Foundational knowledge in manufacturing engineering and project management is a plus.
  • Tools: Practical experience with standard engineering tools (e.g., CATIA V5 or 3DEXPERIENCE) and initial experience with requirements management software (e.g., DOORS) is desirable.
  • Language Skills: Proficient to business-fluent English skills; German language skills are welcome to facilitate communication within our German production sites.
  • Personality: Strong team player with good communication skills, high motivation, and a structured, independent way of working.
