About the team + role

We are building an elite team, applying frontier technologies to the world’s biggest financial problems. We’re looking for bold thinkers. Sharp problem-solvers. Builders who are wired to make an impact. Robinhood isn’t a place for complacency, it’s where ambitious people do the best work of their careers. We’re a high-performing, fast-moving team with ethics at the center of everything we do!

Within our Crypto Operations organization, our Robinhood Canada team is building the compliant foundation for bringing Robinhood's brokerage products to Canadian customers — crypto-asset trading and traditional brokerage offerings alike — under CIRO and CSA oversight from day one, so we can grow into the market without cutting regulatory corners.

We're expanding our brokerage offering into Canada, and we're looking for a Product Manager, Regulatory to own the regulatory and compliance dimension of that build. In this role, you'll make sure every Canadian product — from crypto-asset trading to traditional equities, options, and registered accounts — is built and operated in line with CIRO, CSA and FINTRAC rules. This is a hands-on, high-visibility role at the intersection of product, engineering, and compliance, ideal for someone who has navigated both the crypto-asset trading platform (CTP) framework and traditional OEO brokerage regulation in Canada!

This role is based in our Toronto, ON office, with in-person attendance expected at least 3 days per week.

At Robinhood, we believe in the power of in-person work to accelerate progress, spark innovation, and strengthen community. Our office experience is intentional, energizing, and designed to fully support high-performing teams.

What you’ll do

  • Partner with engineering, design, compliance, and operations to ship new Canadian products in a regulated environment.
  • Define, build, and maintain the ongoing processes that support the regulatory aspects of new and existing brokerage products.
  • Help define, maintain, and monitor adherence to firm policies and procedures across product lines.
  • Track regulatory change affecting the firm, and plan and deliver product updates so the business stays ahead of new requirements.

What you bring

  • 5+ years working with brokerage products in Canada.
  • Deep familiarity with CIRO rules governing OEO brokerages, Canadian securities law, and the CSA regulatory framework for CTPs.
  • Experience partnering with engineering teams on technical projects; SQL or other Business Intelligence experience a plus.
  • Certifications such as Canadian Securities Course (CSC), Conduct and Practices Handbook (CPH), Trader Training Course (TTC), Branch Manager/Supervisor Course, or Derivatives Fundamentals and Options Licensing / Futures Licensing Course (DFOL/FLC) are a plus.
  • Direct exposure to both crypto-asset trading platforms and traditional retail brokerage (equities, options, margin, registered accounts — Tax-Free Savings Account [TFSA], Registered Retirement Savings Plan [RRSP], First Home Savings Account [FHSA] is a plus.

What we offer

  • Challenging, high-impact work to grow your career.
  • Performance driven compensation with multipliers for outsized impact, bonus programs, and equity ownership.
  • Top tier benefits to fuel your work, including supplemental health insurance, ancillary insurance, and mental health support programs.
  • Access to the best AI tools on the market and continuous AI skill-building for every employee, technical or not.
  • Lifestyle wallet - a highly flexible employer-paid benefits spending account expenses beyond traditional benefits such as wellness, childcare, learning, and more.
  • Time off to recharge including company holidays, paid time off, sick time, paid volunteer time off, parental leave, and more!
  • Exceptional office experience with catered meals, events, and comfortable workspaces.
  • Monthly commuter stipend to help offset in-office commuting costs.

In addition to the base pay range listed below, this role is also eligible for bonus opportunities + equity + benefits.

Base pay for the successful applicant will depend on a variety of job-related factors, which may include education, training, experience, location, business needs, or market demands. The expected base pay range for this role is based on the location where the work will be performed.

Base Pay Range:

Toronto, ON
