Salary: $75K - $90K or potentially higher

Bonus: $15K - $18K

Job Summary:
The Foundry Melt Supervisor is responsible for supervising the daily operations of the melt department, including furnace operations, metal quality control, and personnel supervision. This role ensures that molten metal is produced safely, efficiently, and in accordance with production specifications and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee 1^st shift melting operations and furnace
• Coordinate production schedules with casting and finishing departments
• Supervise, train, and evaluate melt shop personnel
• Troubleshoot melting issues, including furnace performance and metal defects
• Manage raw material usage, scrap selection, and alloy additions
• Track and optimize energy consumption and production efficiency
• Maintain accurate records of melt data, quality results, and production output
• Collaborate with quality control teams to resolve metallurgical issues
