Job Description

As a Security Officer High Rise Building in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service to tenants, visitors, and staff. You will communicate clearly, report observations, and support a welcoming environment while demonstrating Allied Universal’s values of agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, care, and integrity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, vendors, and property management personnel while carrying out site-specific procedures and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of commercial office buildings, common areas, parking facilities, loading areas, and property perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site policies; document observations and report access concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency procedures and contacting emergency services when appropriate.
• Prepare clear, accurate daily activity reports and incident documentation, and communicate relevant information to site management and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
