Overview

Cybersecurity Analyst position is an individual contributor role that is focused on performing the execution and support pertaining to cybersecurity including network, email, endpoint, cloud, advanced persistent threat, etc. This role requires knowledge and experience in IT security to apply a solid understanding of concepts with practical application to projects such as new security applications, implementation of security tools, support for existing security tools and security investigations. Cybersecurity Analyst is acquiring higher level knowledge while working with a moderate level of supervision.

Responsibilities

Position Responsibilities  Enforces security policies and procedures by administering and monitoring security profiles, reviews security violation reports and investigates possible security exceptions, updates, and maintains and documents security controls  Evaluate application security capabilities and define and deliver security requirements and alternatives  Monitor security log monitoring systems and triage security alerts to identify cyber threats  Apply a strong understanding of how to deploy new security tools/applications within the PAM Health environment  Provides training and promotes security awareness throughout PAM Health  Maintains relevant knowledge necessary to perform essential job functions; keeps up to date on changes in the field  Provide cybersecurity consulting as needed for individuals and projects within IT  Ensures security and confidentiality of sensitive and/or protected information Customer Service  Maintains the highest level of customer service via courtesy, compassion and positive communication.  Promotes the mission and vision of PAM Health within the work environment and the community.JOB DESCRIPTION Respects dignity and confidentiality by adherence to all applicable policies and procedures. Qualifications

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:Education and Training: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field preferred Experience: 5 years of related professional experience and training in information technology and/or information security is highly preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Understanding of LANs, WANs, network segments, Internet, and intranet systems Strong analytical skills in threat, vulnerability, endpoint detection analysis At least one of the following certifications is highly desirable: Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), and Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH). Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skillsPHYSICAL DEMANDS: See attached Job Activity RequirementsWORKING CONDITIONS: Working generally indoors in well-lighted, well-ventilated areas.
