Element has an exciting opportunity for a certified NDT UT Level II Inspector to join our aerospace inspection team. In this role, you’ll perform immersion ultrasonic testing on critical aerospace components, using your UT expertise to identify discontinuities and ensure components meet demanding customer, quality, and industry standards.

You’ll work as part of a dedicated inspection cell alongside other inspectors, technicians, and production teams in an environment built around quality, teamwork, safety, and continuous improvement.

Compensation: $32.00-$45.00 based on skillset and experience.

Responsibilities

Set up, calibrate, and operate immersion ultrasonic testing equipment.

Perform UT inspections and evaluate aerospace components for acceptance or rejection.

Read and follow engineering drawings, customer specifications, and approved NDT procedures.

Partner with inspectors and production teams to maintain quality, efficient part flow, and delivery commitments.

Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.

Skills / Qualifications

Current UT Level II certification in accordance with NAS 410, SNT-TC-1A, or an equivalent standard. At least 1 year of hands-on immersion UT experience, ideally with aerospace or other critical components. Strong understanding of ultrasonic theory, sound beam characteristics, transducer selection, and data interpretation. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical procedures. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to safety, quality, and inspection accuracy. Collaborative mindset and ability to succeed in a team-based inspection environment.
