Partner with the best 

The Commodity buyer contributes to procurement strategy for his/her product and execute order placement and agreements with suppliers supporting business KPIs. 

The Commodity Buyer is responsible for: 

• Contributing to develop and execute long term strategies for the assigned commodity, ensuring best performance for procurement KPI 
• Integrating commodity strategies into product leadership, sales, engineering, and manufacturing objectives.
• New Product Development, driving supplier selection, development, and overall supplier management with support of engineering, sales, product leadership and other procurement team in accordance with the business strategy 
• Partnering and being a point of reference for Product Leadership, Sales and Engineering for product strategy of the assigned commodity
• Developing negotiation strategies and leading negotiations to achieve stated goals and objectives of supply chain for Single PO as well as Strategic Partnership
• Negotiating and issuing purchase orders with suppliers achieving lowest possible cost for material, balanced against optimum quality and schedule needs 
• Developing Procurement initiatives for cost out program, deflation, cycle reduction, BVC Procurement and cash flow improvement (e.g. rebate, payment terms) 
• Leveraging S&OP data to match and optimize supplier capacity with business goals  

Fuel your passion 
To be successful in this role you will have: 

• Bachelor’s/Master degree from an accredited university or college in Engineering or Economic with experience in procurement or commodity management 
• Show a good experience in Procurement, Operations, Supply Chain 
• English and Italian fluent, both in writing and speaking  
• Excellent communication and influencing skills
• Analytical mindset with a proven ability to resolve problems and identify solutions 
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Positive attitude to embrace change and see challenge as opportunity
• Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs 
• Availability to travel

For Italy: The initial pay range for this position will be EUR 36,000 To 49,500.
