Micro Metals Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Payable Clerk to join our Accounting team. This position plays a key role in ensuring the accurate and timely processing of invoices, payments, and financial records while supporting the overall efficiency of our accounting operations.

Requirements

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Process vendor invoices accurately and timely 
• Verify invoice information, coding, and approvals 
• Enter invoices into the accounting system 
• Maintain organized accounts payable files and records 
• Research and resolve invoice discrepancies 
• Communicate with vendors regarding payment status and account inquiries 
• Assist with payment processing and check runs 
• Reconcile vendor statements and identify outstanding items 
• Support month-end closing activities as assigned 
• Maintain confidentiality of financial information 
• Follow company policies, accounting procedures, and internal controls 
• Provide administrative support to the Accounting department as needed 

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required 
• Associate degree in Accounting, Business, or related field preferred 
• Minimum 2 years of accounts payable, accounting, bookkeeping, or related      experience preferred 
• Strong computer skills required 
• Experience with accounting software and Microsoft Excel preferred 
• Ability to accurately process a high volume of transactions 
• Strong organizational and time management skills 
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy 
• Ability to prioritize workload and meet deadlines 
• Professional communication and customer service skills
