Associate Software Engineer

## Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain responsive, user-friendly web applications using Angular/React, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
• Implement new frontend features and enhance existing applications based on business and user requirements.
• Integrate frontend applications with RESTful APIs, including .NET Core backend services.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers, backend developers, and QA teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve application issues related to functionality, performance, and cross-browser compatibility.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
• Ensure code quality through unit testing, code reviews, and adherence to development best practices.
• Continuously learn and adopt new technologies while contributing to team knowledge sharing and process improvements.

## Qualifications and Requirements

### Essential qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science or other
• 0–1 year of experience, internship experience, or academic project exposure in frontend/web application development.

### Key competencies

• Good understanding of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), and TypeScript.
• Familiarity with modern frontend framework such as Angular and/or React through projects, internships, or coursework.
• Basic understanding of Node.js, npm, and frontend build tools.
• Knowledge of REST APIs and frontend integration with .NET Core Web APIs.
• Understanding of responsive web design, cross-browser compatibility, and web accessibility principles.
• Familiarity with Git, GitHub, or Azure DevOps for version control and collaboration.
• Basic understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Exposure to unit testing frameworks such as Jasmine, Karma, Jest, or React Testing Library is a plus.
• Exposure to state management concepts such as RxJS, Redux, or Context API is a plus.
• Basic knowledge of cloud platforms such as Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or Microsoft Azure is a plus.
