Interface is seeking a Studio Design Scheduler to coordinate and optimize workflow across the Interface Design Studio. This role ensures project requests from Sales and Marketing are prioritized, scheduled, and delivered in support of business performance and team efficiency.
Working in close partnership with the design team and a peer scheduler, this role evaluates incoming work, aligns priorities, and helps balance team capacity. Under the direction of the Design Studio Manager, the Studio Design Scheduler ensures projects progress smoothly from intake through completion.

Educational requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in business, communications, project management, or a related field
Equivalent experience in scheduling, traffic coordination, or project management may be considered
Experience requirements:
1-3 years of experience in project coordination, scheduling, or a related role
Experience working in a creative, design, or production environment preferred
Skills needed:
Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
Clear and confident communication skills, both written and verbal (English proficiency required)
Sound judgment in prioritization and decision-making within a fast-paced environment
Detail-oriented with the ability to review work for completeness and accuracy
Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively within a small team and cross-functional environment
Proactive problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt to shifting priorities
Comfort navigating ambiguity and making informed decisions with available information
Ability to meet deadlines in a high-pressure, high-demand, fast-paced environment
Experience with workflow or project management tools (Salesforce or similar platforms) required
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Teams, Excel)
Familiarity with design tools (AutoCAD, CET, Adobe Creative Suite) preferred
Experience reading and interpreting architectural plans and construction documents preferred
Key responsibilities:
Review and assess incoming project requests to confirm scope, completeness, and required deliverables
Assign and schedule work based on team capacity, deadlines, and project priorities
Partner closely with scheduling team to align on workload distribution, scheduling decisions, and evolving priorities
Collaborate with designers and Lead Studio Designers to maintain balanced workflows and ensure efficient resource utilization
Communicate clearly with internal stakeholders on project status, timelines, and expectations
Ensure timely acknowledgment and assignment of all requests, including setting and managing turnaround expectations
Identify gaps in project scope and work with stakeholders to resolve before scheduling
Maintain visibility into active and upcoming work to proactively flag risks, bottlenecks, or capacity challenges
Support coordination across cross-functional teams, including Product Development, for projects requiring customization
Maintain scheduling tools, team calendars, and supporting documentation to ensure accuracy and transparency
Occasionally support basic project-related tasks (e.g., simple layouts and estimating) as needed
Work environment & expectations:
Predominantly open office environment with moderate exposure to manufacturing areas
Fast-paced, collaborative studio with multiple concurrent deadlines
Occasional travel between Atlanta and LaGrange locations (approximately 2 days per month)
Hybrid work schedule: minimum 3 days per week in office (Atlanta or LaGrange), with flexibility for remote work 2 days per week
