PwC Forensic Services combines financial, accounting, regulatory, and technology expertise to help clients prevent, detect, and respond to fraud, corruption, and other forms of financial crime. Our team assists clients in managing risks, conducting investigations, supporting litigation matters, and enhancing compliance processes. As an Intern, you will gain hands-on exposure to forensic investigations, data analysis, and the practical application of forensic methodologies while working alongside experienced professionals.As an Intern in Forensic Services, you will work closely with a team of experienced professionals and gain exposure to a wide range of forensic and investigative assignments. This internship offers an opportunity to develop analytical, research, and problem-solving skills while supporting client engagements and internal initiatives.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Support the team in conducting forensic investigations, fraud reviews, and litigation support engagements.
- Assist with information gathering, document reviews, and background research related to investigations and compliance-related matters.
- Help organize, compile, and analyze data from various sources to support forensic analyses and investigative procedures.
- Perform basic data cleansing, validation, and reconciliation activities to ensure data integrity.
- Assist in identifying unusual transactions, trends, or patterns through data analysis and research.
- Support the preparation of reports, presentations, and working papers for internal discussions and client deliverables.
- Conduct market research on emerging fraud risks, industry trends, and forensic technologies.
- Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and knowledge-sharing activities to enhance understanding of forensic services.
- Assist with administrative and project coordination tasks to support engagement teams.
