Job Summary

In this role, you will apply advanced subject matter knowledge to complex business issues and be relied upon to exercise significant independent judgment within broadly defined policies and practices to achieve desired results. Become a member of the NA Pricing Team, responsible for providing competitive pricing analysis and information on Print Products to support the Partners and Channel field sales efforts in winning more business in the Indirect MPS space. The team's focus is on balancing the needs of Category and the Sales Organizations to ensure increased market share while maximizing profit levels. 

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Provide special pricing support, including deal consulting, qualification, solution development and approval
  • Analyze competitive pricing and profitability dynamics for all large volume sales opportunities
  • Assist in the development and implementation of margin improvement initiatives
  • Collaborate with Channel partners Sales, Category, Finance and Operations staff to ensure completeness and consistency of proposals.
  • Provide feedback and recommendations to the Business Unit management on opportunity win/loss, sales inhibitors, market conditions, program successes and deficiencies
  • Manage/drive Business Unit and Finance pricing escalations.

Education and Experience Required:

  • First level university degree or equivalent experience; may have advanced university degree.
  • Typically, 4-6 years of experience in a business-related function, preferably finance, accounting, or compensation.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Advanced communication skills (e.g. written, verbal, presentation). Mastery in English and local language as well as other languages as required.
  • Strong knowledge and skills with business applications (e.g., Excel and Compass).
  • Ability to work as both a member and leader of a team
  • Solid understanding of internal business processes and policies
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Strong Knowledge of the end to end sales process.
  • Sales cycle experience an asset
  • Understanding of financial concepts
  • Demonstrates a strong willingness to learn.  Must be a self-starter able to work independently based on direction from manager.
  • Strong aptitude and experience in using PC and spreadsheet applications.
  • Ability to develop account and market knowledge.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication (verbal and written) skills.
  • Excellent listening skills.
