Job Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and maintain EHS policies covering fire protection, environmental, chemical safety, and security in compliance with local regulations, codes, and global corporate standards.
- Implement and manage ISO 14001 (Environmental Management) and ISO 45001 (Occupational Health & Safety) systems, including audits, documentation, and employee training.
- Plan and execute environmental and chemical safety programs, conduct internal safety audits, and ensure timely corrective and preventive actions.
- Continuously monitor and improve general safety practices, PPE compliance, and workplace safety performance.
- Oversee security operations, prepare work plans, monitor performance, and manage security-related risks. Develop, implement, and maintain emergency response plans for safety and security incidents.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in EHS implementation and management. Strong knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations and compliance requirements.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to conduct training and collaborate across functions and with external stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with proficiency in managing and tracking safety data using computer systems.
Working Location: Senai, Johor
Working Hours: 5 Days per week
Salary: Up to RM7k
