Job Description

As a Security Officer - Corporate Building Perimeter Patrol, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer in a government location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or members of the public by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts when needed.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols around buildings, offices, entry points, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and observe for security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and help to verify authorized entry in accordance with site procedures, while reporting suspicious behavior, policy violations, and/or maintenance concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Support daily operations by providing directions, answering general questions, and assisting with security-related inquiries while maintaining awareness of changing conditions throughout the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
