Who You'll Work With:
The Talent team sits within AB’s People organization and manages an array of programs and initiatives. The team advances the employee experience by developing and administering programs related to talent and performance management, enterprise learning and development, employee engagement, and recognition. The role will report to the Chief Talent Officer and will work collaboratively with the broader People team and Corporate Communications colleagues.
What You'll Do:
The VP/Director of Organizational Development will partner with the Chief Talent Officer and be responsible for the day-to-day administration and long-term strategy of key employee experience initiatives intended to drive engagement and retention. These programs include the employee survey platform, AB’s recognition program, employee onboarding, and as well as oversight of the firm’s AI talent-specific initiatives throughout the employee lifecycle. The director of Organizational Development will be responsible for developing a strategy and goals for each program, liaising with vendors and internal teams to ensure excellent implementation, developing resources and campaigns to support high usage across the firm, and working closely with our technology team to surface and resolve user issues. Responsibilities include:
Manage AB's employee experience programs including annual employee engagement survey, pulse surveys, onboarding, and the firm's enterprise recognition program
Monitor and analyze key talent metrics to identify trends and opportunities for improvement
Partner closely with internal technology product owners to understand the latest tech tools and capabilities and ensure excellent implementation of employee programs
Partner closely with Corporate Communications to execute strategic, engaging, and efficient campaigns and change management
Stay current with the latest research and trends regarding organizational development and talent
Collaborate with various partners to align individual business unit development and talent strategies with enterprise organizational goals
What We're Looking For:
Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of 10 years related experience
Strong leadership and team skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong Workday and technical knowledge, as well as vendor management experience
Demonstrated advocacy for AI solutions to enhance workplace effectiveness and innovation
Experience administering engagement and pulse surveys and analyzing survey data
Proven track record of developing successful organizational development strategies
Demonstrated ability to be a flexible, proactive, creative problem-solver
Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative, team-based environment
