Job Description
What You’ll Do:
- Validate and characterize ROIC-based infrared focal plane array products to ensure compliance with design and performance requirements.
- Develop and execute product validation, characterization, and debug plans across a variety of operating conditions.
- Analyze test results and generate clear, accurate technical reports that support product release and customer deliverables.
- Collaborate closely with design, test, systems, and applications engineering teams to resolve technical issues and improve product performance.
- Troubleshoot, analyze, and optimize semiconductor devices and systems using sound electrical engineering principles.
- Provide technical support to internal stakeholders and external customers, including direct customer interaction when required.
- Maintain strong communication and teamwork while contributing to a fast-paced, mission-critical development environment.
What You Need:
- BS or MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 3-5 years of experience in semiconductor test, product validation, characterization, or a related discipline.
- Strong understanding of semiconductor device physics and analog, digital, and mixed-signal circuit fundamentals.
- Hands-on experience with laboratory instrumentation such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, debuggers, and current probes.
- Experience developing automated test solutions using Python and instrument communication protocols such as GPIB, SCPI, or socket-based interfaces.
- Strong analytical and data evaluation skills, including familiarity with tools such as JMP, Spotfire, R, and Excel.
- Ability to independently debug complex hardware issues; experience with PCB design/debug, aerospace, military, spaceflight, cryogenic electronics, ROICs, or pixel technologies is a plus. U.S. citizenship required due to access restrictions.

$96,600.00-$128,800.000The anticipated salary range listed for this role is only an estimate.
