Are you ready to take the next big step in your career? Four Seasons Hotel Toronto is currently looking for a Full-Time Housekeeping Supervisor who is dedicated to providing exceptional quality and service to our guests!
About the role:
The Housekeeping Supervisor is part of the Housekeeping Team who collectively is responsible for the cleanliness and attention to detail of the hotel. The position works closely with the Housekeeping Managers to ensure a high level of cleanliness hotel wide. The Housekeeping Supervisor is responsible for ensuring all guest rooms meet the highest standards as set by Four Seasons. The position oversees both Housekeeping Attendants and Housepersons working on the floors conducting detailed inspections of their work.
This position reports to the Housekeeping Managers, operates on a rotating shift schedule, and includes on-the-job training.
What you will do:
- Inspects the work of a team of Housekeeping Attendants and Housepersons responsible for the cleaning and upkeep of assigned areas of the hotel. Provides training and coaching when standards are not met.
- Schedules daily work assignments and distributes room and floor status sheets for assigned areas. Monitors each Housekeeping Attendant’s daily progress and inspects completed rooms to ensure all standards have been met.
- Coordinates and follows up on work orders within the assigned section to ensure timely completion.
- Ensures sufficient supplies are available on guest floors.
- Inspects the cleanliness of guest corridors, stairwells, elevators, and linen closets.
- Assists Housekeeping leadership with the daily management of the department.
- Trains, supervises, and supports the Housekeeping team in the performance of their duties.
- Assists with responsibilities and duties in the absence of, or during periods of high volume for, Lobby Attendants, Housekeeping Attendants, and Housepersons.
- Communicates closely with other departments to ensure timely follow-up on special requests, guest concerns, and operational issues.
- Completes the evening Housekeeping report and follows up on any discrepancies.
- Assists other departments, as required, in resolving operational or guest-related issues.
- Responds appropriately to all hotel emergency and safety situations.
- Performs additional duties, tasks, and projects as assigned by hotel management.
What you bring:
- Minimum 1 year of Housekeeping supervisory experience, preferably in a hotel environment.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in Housekeeping or Room Attendant role, preferably in a luxury hotel environment.
- Completion of post-secondary education in Hospitality Management or a related field is considered an asset.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
- Proven ability to multitask effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong command of the English language. Proficiency in additional languages is considered an asset.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word and Excel.
- Previous experience using the HotSOS system is considered an asset.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining quality standards.
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and perform physical tasks, including grasping, bending, and stooping.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time, up to 8 hours per day.

The hourly wage for this role is $32.03.
Schedule & Hours:
This position requires an applicant with an open schedule and the ability to work all shifts, including weekends and holidays.
