We're looking for an Endoscopy Staff Nurse to join our Endoscopy Centre at The Wellington Hospital in London. As London's first private JAG-accredited centre for gastrointestinal endoscopy, our department is recognised for delivering exceptional standards of patient care and clinical excellence. With 12 specially designed individual recovery bays and access to the latest endoscopic technology, we support the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of disorders affecting the pancreas, liver, gallbladder, oesophagus, stomach, small intestine and colon. Working alongside a highly skilled multidisciplinary team, you'll play an integral role in delivering an outstanding patient experience.

As an Endoscopy Staff Nurse in our Endoscopy Centre, you'll be part of a specialist team dedicated to providing safe, effective and compassionate care throughout the patient journey. Supporting a wide range of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, you'll work closely with Consultants, colorectal clinical nurse specialists and fellow endoscopy nurses to ensure patients receive the highest standards of care. What you'll do:

• Assist Consultants during a variety of endoscopic procedures, ensuring safe and effective patient care.
• Monitor, record and interpret patient observations and vital signs throughout the patient pathway.
• Participate in the Endoscopy on-call rota and respond appropriately to clinical requirements.
• Provide support and guidance to patients and colleagues, escalating concerns to the Nurse in Charge when required.
• Contribute to the effective management of resources and support the smooth running of the department.

What you'll bring:

• Registered Nurse Level 1 qualification.
• Current NMC Registration.
• Endoscopy experience, including ENB qualification or equivalent endoscopy practice experience.
• Knowledge of relevant healthcare policies, procedures and health and safety requirements.
• Proven ability to work effectively in a busy and changing clinical environment with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
