Position: Social Media Growth Specialist – Music & Entertainment

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute organic social media growth strategies to increase audience reach, followers, engagement, streams, profile visits, and community sign-ups.

• Manage growth activities across TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts, identifying platform-specific opportunities for discovery and audience growth.

• Analyze existing music, cinematic visuals, short-form content, and story-driven assets to identify their highest growth potential.

• Repurpose individual songs and existing content into multiple shareable, platform-native content pieces.

• Develop compelling hooks, formats, trends, and content concepts designed to improve attention, retention, engagement, and discoverability.

• Monitor social media trends, emerging formats, and unconventional organic growth opportunities and test new approaches continuously.

• Identify and engage relevant creators, artists, influencers, communities, and niche audiences to expand organic reach.

• Build intrigue and audience interest around the music, creative content, characters, and story-driven universe.

• Drive audiences toward music streams, social profiles, email lists, and community channels.

• Monitor campaign and content performance, analyze results, and identify what should be scaled, improved, or discontinued.

• Develop repeatable organic growth strategies rather than relying solely on one-off viral content.

• Provide regular performance updates and actionable recommendations based on data and audience behavior.

Requirements

• Proven experience in organic social media growth, audience development, growth marketing, or social media growth hacking.

• Demonstrated hands-on experience growing social media accounts, communities, artists, entertainment brands, or creative projects organically.

• Strong understanding of TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts, including algorithms, trends, hooks, retention, engagement, and discoverability.

• Experience developing and executing organic growth campaigns with measurable results.

• Strong understanding of content repurposing and the ability to turn one piece of content into multiple platform-specific assets.

• Experience with creator outreach, community engagement, influencer/creator collaborations, or grassroots audience development.

• Strong analytical and data-driven mindset with the ability to interpret performance metrics and make strategic decisions.

• Creative, experimental, and proactive approach to testing new growth tactics.

• Ability to independently develop ideas, execute campaigns, monitor results, and communicate learnings.

• Strong understanding of music, entertainment, creator, or online community culture is highly desirable.

• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with an independent artist and creative team.

Portfolio / Experience Requirement

• Applicants must provide examples of organic growth campaigns they have personally worked on.

• Include social media account links, starting and current audience figures, growth metrics, engagement results, reach, or other measurable outcomes where available.

• Provide 2–5 examples of content or campaigns that demonstrate their role in achieving audience growth.

• Candidates should briefly explain what strategy they used, what they tested, what worked, and what the results were.

• Experience growing an emerging artist, music brand, entertainment IP, or creative project is a strong advantage.
