Transportation and Logistics team within S&C GN Industrial Practice brings extensive expertise in driving operational efficiency and digital transformation across our clients. we specialize in digital transformations, end-to-end supply chain optimization, freight and fleet management, route planning and optimization, last-mile delivery solutions, transportation management systems (TMS) implementation, warehouse and inventory management, process automation and digitization, sustainability initiatives, cold chain logistics, advanced analytics and data-driven insights, IoT and asset tracking solutions, and industry benchmarking and best practices.

Transportation and Logistics team within S&C GN Industrial Practice brings extensive expertise in driving operational efficiency and digital transformation across our clients. We specialize in:

• Railway enterprise systems and asset lifecycle management
• Digital transformations and new-age technologies (IoT, AI/ML, automation, predictive maintenance)
• Integrated operations optimization for rolling stock, signalling, track, and station assets
• Smart infrastructure and reliability-centred maintenance solutions
• Sustainability initiatives and advanced analytics

Bring your best skills forward to excel in the role

Skills in one or more of the following areas:

• Lead or support SAP TM implementation and rollout projects.
• Provide expertise in freight order management, carrier collaboration, and charge management
• Configure SAP TM modules including planning, execution, freight settlement, and charge management.
• Integrate SAP TM with SAP ERP, SAP EWM, and third-party logistics systems.
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into SAP TM solutions.
• Provide post-go-live support and troubleshoot issues.
• Facilitate client workshops to validate business processes, define requirements, and provide training and knowledge transfer to end-users and support teams.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including supply chain, logistics, and IT.
• Develop functional specifications for custom developments and enhancements.
• Support data migration and cutover activities related to transportation processes.
• Conduct system testing (unit, integration, and UAT) and support defect resolution.
• Work closely with ABAP developers for customizations and enhancements.
• Monitor and improve system performance and user experience within SAP TM.

Required skills

• Experience integrating TM with SAP ECC/S4, EWM, and other logistics systems
• Strong understanding of transportation planning, carrier selection, freight order management, and charge calculation.
• Strong knowledge of transportation planning, execution, and freight settlement
• Problem-solving mindset with excellent communication & client-facing skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
• Cross-cultural competence with an ability to thrive in a dynamic environment

Your experience counts!

• SAP TM Certification is big plus.
• 3-10 years of experience in SAP TM.
• Working experience of at least 2 support projects or 1 Implementation Project
• Familiarity with Agile practices (Scrum, Kanban) and tools like JIRA, Confluence, MS Projects.
• Exposure to design thinking, value architecting, and business case preparation.
• Experience in team management, coaching, and professional development of junior team members.
