Great retail decisions start with location intelligence. As GIS Manager, this role is at the heart of how the LEGO Group understands where to play, where to grow, and where the next opportunity lies. Bring the data together and help build where LEGO retail goes next!
Core Responsibilities
- Create and own self-serve GIS tools, which will be used to visualize the network roadmaps across all Branded Channels (e.g ArcGIS Online / CARTO/ Tableau/Power BI)
- Engage with stakeholders to understand capabilities /requirements to ensure outputs are fit for purpose
- Maintain & build databases ensuring one centralized place for spatial data (e.g retail and competitor landscape, demographic data)
- Ensure internal data is leveraged efficiently and can be embedded into projects and deliverables (Insider data –store and .COM data, Audience data)
- Drive continuous improvement and automation of GIS workflows, data processes and reporting to improve efficiency, scalability and consistency across projects
- Provide supporting spatial and store-based analysis across all channels, generating insight that informs store level and broader strategic recommendations

Location planning is the foundation of every new store, relocation, and portfolio decision at the LEGO Group. As our GIS Manager, you will drive innovation in how we visualize, connect, and democratize location data, enabling smarter, faster decision-making across the business.
Working alongside a global team of location planners, you will develop scalable self-service GIS platforms, build standardized data solutions, and partner with stakeholders across the organization to unlock the value of spatial insights. Your work will directly influence strategic retail decisions, helping shape the future of our global store network while improving the way location intelligence is used across the LEGO Group.
Do you have what it takes?
- Strong expertise with enterprise GIS platforms such as ArcGIS Online, ArcGIS Pro, CARTO, QGIS and data visualization tools including Power BI and Tableau
- Experience designing and delivering scalable, self-service GIS products and data solutions for a broad range of business users
- Outstanding quantitative and analytical skills that allow you to extract logic, insights, and meaningful conclusions from complex business problems to technical & non-technical audiences
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, SQL & Python
- A strong drive for ensuring data integrity
- Excellent communication skills, allowing you to structure documents and quantitative analysis as well as PowerPoint presentations for executive level communication
- Ability to independently manage project objectives
- Experience working for global Retail/FMCG/CPG company and an understanding of the different retail landscapes is a plus

Compensation
The salary for this position has a range of $107,885.00 - $161,827.00 based on anticipated responsibilities, market benchmarks, and organizational constraints. The LEGO Group carefully considers a wide range of compensation factors, including but not limited to prior experience, skills, expertise, location, internal equity, and other considerations permitted by law. The comprehensive remuneration details, inclusive of benefits, will be communicated upon finalisation of the employment offer.Applications are reviewed on an ongoing basis.
