Gastro Health is seeking a Full-Time Patient Relations Representative to join our team!

The Patient Advocate Specialist will review patient balances to ensure accurate billing and to address any concerns or questions
posed by care center staff or patients relating to those billed balances.

Duties you will be responsible for:
· Production: Meets Quantity (100%) and Quality Required Benchmark (90% - To be evaluated through audits)
- Able to effectively complete Patient Advocate tasks which include resolve patient billing issues received via Smartsheet or a patient collections queue, posting self-pay adjustments, making and receiving patient phone calls, maintaining proper claim collection codes, monitoring patient payment plans and replying to TSI disputes.

Minimum Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- 1 year of related experience, or any combination of education or experience that provides the required knowledge, skills
and abilities to perform the job. - Experience in a healthcare environment or a healthcare claims environment is a strong plus.
