Job Description:

Global Transaction Banking (“GTB”) is organized across four business lines: Treasury Solutions, Financial Institutions, Global Trade Finance, and Export Agency Finance. These businesses are supported by Credit Structuring, Product Strategy and Innovation, Business Intelligence, and Business Risk and Control teams.

GTB is a key growth business within TDS, offering innovative solutions and treasury advisory services for large and complex liquidity, payments, and trade needs. As the industry continues to evolve, GTB adapts its capabilities to meet changing client requirements and remains highly integrated across TDS and TD Bank Group, working closely with Risk, Operations, Legal, GAML, and Treasury and Balance Sheet Management.

Treasury Solutions provides treasury management products to Canadian public companies and subsidiaries of global multinationals. Treasury management includes the collection, disbursement, and management of cash, along with the technology required to support automated money movement and related information flows. Treasury Solutions connects large corporate clients to the global payments system through technology-enabled products and customized solutions, supported by high-caliber sales and execution teams across Canada and the U.S. serving clients globally.

Position Overview

The Vice President, Treasury Solutions Corporate will serve as a key Treasury Solutions representative across Texas and priority regional markets. The role combines client origination, relationship development, treasury advisory, sales support, and gaining market intelligence, with the majority of time focused on client-facing activity and opportunity generation.

The successful candidate will build warm treasury relationships, identify current and future opportunities, and position the organization for broader U.S. treasury platform expansion while developing into a senior cash management sales professional.

Primary Objectives

The primary objective is to create a visible Treasury Solutions presence across Texas and the Central/Western U.S., build senior and working-level treasury relationships, originate qualified business opportunities, and gather actionable market intelligence to support future platform delivery and expansion.

Key Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include regional relationship coverage, sales and client support, deposit and treasury services coordination, market development, and internal partnership across Treasury Solutions, Commercial Banking, Investment Banking, FX, Trade Finance, Product, Implementation, and Advisory teams.

  • Maintain consistent local market coverage and day-to-day connectivity with treasury managers, analysts, assistant treasurers, and finance professionals.
  • Support senior Relationship Managers by preparing client materials, conducting treasury discovery, documenting calls, and advancing qualified opportunities.
  • Represent TD Securities at regional treasury events, conferences, AFP chapters, and client education sessions in Houston, Dallas, Denver, San Francisco, and other priority markets.

Coverage Responsibilities

The role will support Texas and regional clients across energy, oil and gas, chemicals, technology, diversified industrials, real estate, transportation and logistics, consumer, and distribution sectors, including major regional and multinational organizations operating throughout Texas, the Central U.S., and the Western U.S.

Success Metrics

Performance will be measured by the strength of relationship development, market engagement, business generation, and execution discipline.

  • New business opportunities identified, advanced, and converted into strategic pipeline.
  • Client meetings, treasury reviews, call reports, pricing reviews, and relationship touchpoints completed.
  • Strategic client reports, treasury assessments, market intelligence, and unsolicited proposals delivered.
  • Industry events attended, speaking engagements completed, and new treasury contacts developed.

Qualifications

Required / Preferred

  • 5-10 years of treasury, cash management, commercial banking, transaction banking, or related financial services experience
  • Proven U.S. Cash Management sales or support experience, with knowledge of payments, liquidity, treasury management systems, and cash management solutions
  • Strong client-facing relationship management, business development, networking, and presentation skills
  • Ability to travel extensively across Texas and regional markets
  • Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field; corporate banking experience with large and mid-market companies; existing treasury network in Texas and the Western U.S.; industry expertise in energy, oil and gas, chemicals, technology, diversified industrials, automotive, or digital assets
