Join the Pagoda Asian Grill team as our Assistant General Manager and play a key role in supporting the overall success of our restaurant. We are seeking a highly motivated individual to assist the General Manager in leading a dedicated team and ensuring the delivery of exceptional customer service.

Job Responsibilities:

• Team Leadership and Development: Assist the General Manager in leading, motivating, and mentoring a diverse team, fostering a positive work environment that promotes teamwork, accountability, and a strong work ethic.
• Training and Continuous Learning: Facilitate training programs for team members, emphasizing continuous learning and development to enhance skills and performance.
• Operational Excellence: Collaborate in scheduling and managing employee shifts effectively, ensuring optimal staffing levels and contributing to the smooth day-to-day restaurant operations.
• Quality and Compliance: Support daily operations, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards, maintaining high food quality, consistency, and cleanliness.
• Customer Service Focus: Participate in upholding a culture of outstanding customer service, ensuring memorable experiences for customers and addressing feedback promptly.
• Financial Management:  Support the General Manager in managing the restaurant’s budget and financial performance, including sales targets and cost control.
• Community Engagement:  Participate in local marketing efforts to increase restaurant visibility and community engagement.

Job Requirements:

• Previous leadership experience in the restaurant industry, preferably in a quick-service or fast-casual setting.
• Strong leadership and team-building skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.
• Basic financial acumen.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Knowledge of Asian cuisine and a passion for healthy dining options is a plus.
• ServSafe certification or equivalent food safety training is preferred.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
