Raytheon’s Land & Shipboard Effector Guidance Systems Department is responsible for the delivery of affordable and innovative electrical products. Accountable for program execution including cost, schedule and technical oversight throughout the product lifecycle. Providing resources to drive development and sustainment activities of our Land and Naval based electrical products.  Our teams manage a variety of engineering projects while maintaining a work life balance.   

 

What You Will Do

·         Function as an Electrical Depot Hardware Lead on Missile Production Program

·         Provide technical oversight/mentorship over team of cross functional engineers and operation staff. Focus placed on engineering task execution, technical rigor, and meeting schedule.

·         Coordinate with Depot Program Lead and Production Chief Engineer for cross-functional prioritization. 

·         Collaborate and coordinate with Operations, Supply Chain, Quality, our Industrial Partner, and other Engineering disciplines to resolve issues that may arise during production, testing, and integration. Support ILMF’s (Intermediate Level Maintenance Facilities) in troubleshooting and failure investigations.

·         Travel Requirements: less than 10% annually

·         Shift Information: 1st shift

 

Qualifications You Must Have

·         Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, Physics, Mathematics, or a related STEM degree and a minimum of 5 years’ prior relevant experience

·         Relevant experience with any of the following: RF, analog, digital, and / or mixed signal circuit design or analysis and / or digital signal processing, debugging, failure investigations.

·         Demonstrated experience in leading a technical project and/or failure investigation root cause corrective action

·         Experience with professional technical communication and collaboration with internal and external customers, Relevant experience with updating and presenting technical data package documentation

 

Qualifications We Prefer

·         Production process knowledge of Circuit Card Assembly (CCA), RF, Seeker/Sensor, or electronic subsystems; including circuit design, CCA assembly, electrical test, and supplier/sub-tier supplier support.

·         Knowledge of RF / microwave devices preferred.

·         Prior customer-interfacing roles

·         Familiar with Agile program management methodology

·         Familiar with Depot program lifecycle

·         Effective organization, emotional intelligence, etc.

·         Systems thinking, strong problem solving in alignment with the Office of the Chief Engineer (OCE).

·         Experience with CCA design, subsystems integration and test, problem investigation, technical writing, formal presentation, and implementing Engineering Change Notices.

·         Experience working with an international supply base and export and import policies.

·         Leadership of technical teams, including technical oversight and direction, cross-functional coordination, preparation of detailed technical reports, and design review development and presentation.

The salary range for this role is 86,800 USD - 165,200 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
