Pay Range:

Annual Salary: $122,000.00 - $142,300.00

The actual annual salary offered to a candidate will be based on variables including experience, geographic location, education, and skills/achievements, and will be mutually agreed upon at the time of offer.

The Kinetic Group is a world leader in the design, manufacturing, and distribution of small caliber ammunition under the iconic brands B&P, CCI, Federal Premium, Fiocchi, HEVI, Remington and Speer. We have domestic ammunition manufacturing facilities in Minnesota, Idaho, Arkansas, and Missouri, and service law enforcement, government agencies and sporting enthusiasts throughout the world. Today, The Kinetic Group is a part of the Ammo+ division of The Czechoslovak Group (CSG), which holds a diverse portfolio of companies in the defense, security, automotive, aerospace and rail industries.   

 

The person filling this role will be working as a Senior Network Engineer, supporting The Kinetic Group network infrastructure.  They will take a lead role in planning, deploying, and supporting networking equipment. They will also take part in the day-to-day operations of the network team, including but not limited to handling service tickets, working with venders, and performing network maintenance.  
 

This position reports to the PMO and Infrastructure Manager and is based out of our office in Lonoke, Arkansas with a hybrid option and includes some travel.  A remote role is possible, but preference is based on location. 

 

What you’ll do: 

• Design, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot enterprise Cisco switching infrastructure, including Catalyst 9000 platforms. 
• Manage Cisco Catalyst Center for network assurance, inventory, configuration management, software lifecycle management, and automation. 
• Support Cisco enterprise wireless infrastructure, including Catalyst wireless controllers, access points, and associated wireless services. 
• Administer Cisco SD-WAN infrastructure, including WAN connectivity, routing, policies, redundancy, and branch deployments. 
• Manage Cisco ISE for 802.1X, MAB, profiling, authorization policies, guest access, dACLs, and network access control. 
• Support enterprise remote-access VPN, network segmentation, secure connectivity, and integrations with Cisco Secure Access and other security platforms. 
• Manage enterprise network monitoring platforms, alerting, performance monitoring, capacity visibility, and proactive identification of network issues. 
• Troubleshoot complex routing, switching, wireless, application-performance, authentication, and connectivity issues across the enterprise. 
• Support network architecture, hardware refreshes, site deployments, circuit turn-ups, migrations, vendor coordination, and infrastructure projects. 
• Maintain network documentation, configurations, standards, and operational procedures while participating in the network on-call rotation and critical outage response. 
• Follow IT standard operating procedures including but not limited to ticketing, project and change management, and business support. 

 

Experience you bring:  

• 6+ years of experience designing, supporting, and troubleshooting enterprise network environments 
• Strong understanding of routing and switching technologies in large-scale enterprise networks 
• Advanced troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills 
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across teams 
• Network infrastructure support in manufacturing and/or distribution environments 
• CCNP certification, equivalent vendor certification, or comparable work experience 

 

You might have:  

• Experience with telecom solutions 
• Experience supporting cloud networking environments (Azure and/or AWS) 
• Experience with firewall support or collaboration
