Job Summary:
Supports Human Resources, Transformation, and Workforce Strategy projects by coordinating workstreams, maintaining schedules, tracking risks, and facilitating communication among cross‑functional stakeholders. Drives operational progress and continuous improvement by documenting project outcomes, supporting change‑management activities, and helping ensure initiatives remain on track from planning through post‑implementation.Job Description:
- Supports project planning and execution by coordinating HR, Transformation, and Workforce Strategy workstreams, maintaining schedules, and monitoring vendor timelines to keep initiatives on track.
- Tracks project progress by documenting risks, issues, decision points, and dependencies, escalating concerns when needed, and conducting post‑workstream assessments to capture lessons learned.
- Coordinates communication among HR, operations, cross‑functional partners, and Project Managers to ensure alignment, facilitate meetings, summarize next steps, and maintain accountability.
- Supports transformation and change‑management activities by contributing to process improvements, streamlining workflows, and partnering with HR analytics teams on how project results will be shared post‑implementation.
- Supports project leaders by interpreting the context behind issues and delays and providing insight beyond basic status updates and task owners by clarifying project risks and future dependencies, helping them focus on milestones and the overall project timeline.
- Follows established company policies, procedures, and standards to ensure full compliance with applicable laws and industry regulations.
- Participates in storm restoration tasks and assigned drills to contribute to the safe and reliable recovery of services.
- Performs additional tasks aligned with role expectations and qualifications to support team goals and operational flexibility.
Additional Job Description:
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Project Management or related field.
Experience
- 3 years' experience with functional role responsibilities such as coordinating projects, supporting cross‑functional collaboration, and managing reporting and process improvements, with at least 1 year of experience supporting projects.
- 1 to 2 years of project coordination or operational support experience.
Additional experience may substitute for required education when it aligns with the competencies and knowledge necessary for the role:
- Associate’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Project Management or related field may substitute when accompanied by a minimum of 5 years of experience performing similar functions and at least 3 years of experience performing a position associated to a project-support role.
Competencies (Skills):
- Project Management Tools: Familiarity with Smartsheet, MS Project, and similar platforms used to plan and track work.
- Organization and Communication: Strong ability to organize information and communicate clearly with diverse stakeholders.
- Priority Management: Skilled at managing multiple priorities and adapting to shifting demands.
- Adaptability: Comfortable operating in fast‑paced, transformation‑focused environments that require readiness and continuous improvement.
- Bilingual Communication: Fluent in English and Spanish, enabling clear communication and effective support across diverse stakeholders.
Licenses/ Certifications:
- Preferred: Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) or similar.
