The AODM has operational authority to establish and communicate aircraft execution priorities and coordinate the supporting organizations necessary to achieve established aircraft objectives but does not replace the responsibilities of Program Management, Quality, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or Functional Leadership.

  • Lead or support recurring customer status meetings, milestone reviews, aircraft inspections, acceptance activities, and final delivery.
  • Maintain awareness of contract and scope requirements affecting aircraft execution and provide operational input for change orders, proposals, and over-and-above activity as required.
  • Coordinate aircraft testing, closeout activities, documentation readiness, customer acceptance, and delivery requirements.
  • Lead operational readiness for Return to Service while maintaining Quality's independent regulatory, inspection, airworthiness, and Return to Service authority.
