Supervisor Production Planning (m/f/*)

The Supervisor, Production Planning is responsible for leading Production Planning activities across the Çorlu and Çerkezköy manufacturing sites. This position plays a critical role in balancing service, inventory, capacity, and operational efficiency while leading and developing a team of Production Planners. The role serves as a key contributor to the monthly S&OP and Supply Review processes and collaborates closely with Operations, Procurement, Supply Planning, Customer Operations, and Demand planning teams to ensure alignment between demand, supply, production and business objectives.

Here, you will make an impact by:

• Leading and developing Production Planning teams across both Çorlu and Çerkezköy manufacturing sites.
• Driving short-term production scheduling and long-term capacity planning activities to ensure service, inventory, and cost objectives are achieved
• Developing, executing, and adjusting production plans based on demand forecasts, production capabilities, and business priorities.
• Playing a key role in the monthly S&OP and Supply Review processes by providing inventory, production, capacity, and supply insights to support business decision-making.
• Identifying capacity constraints, inventory risks, and service opportunities while developing mitigation plans in partnership with cross-functional stakeholders.
• Establishing and monitoring inventory operating levels, customer service targets, and key planning performance indicators.
• Reviewing demand trends, business forecasts, and operational performance to proactively address risks and opportunities.
• Supporting new product introductions, product transitions, and strategic business initiatives through effective planning and execution
• Driving continuous improvement initiatives focused on service enhancement, inventory optimization, waste reduction, and planning process excellence.
• Collaborating with Operations, Procurement, Engineering, Quality, Customer Operations, and Commercial teams to ensure end-to-end supply chain alignment.
• Leading employee selection, coaching, development, performance management, and succession planning activities.
• Leading cross-functional projects and task forces that improve business performance and operational effectiveness.

Your Skills and Expertise 

To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M is looking for candidates who meet following minimum requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field.
• Professional experience in Supply Chain, Production Planning, Materials Planning, Logistics, or Manufacturing Operations.
• Previous supervisory, leadership, or people management experience.
• Fluent Turkish and English communication skills.
• SAP ECC experience, preferably within Production Planning and Materials Management processes.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.

Additional knowledge / nice-to-have skills / preferred qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

• Experience participating in S&OP, Supply Review, Demand Review, or Integrated Business Planning processes.
• Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence across functions and organizational levels.
• Experience leading continuous improvement and operational excellence initiatives.
• APICS/CPIM, CSCP or similar Supply Chain certifications are considered an advantage.
