Hiring Unit: University Advancement, Digital Strategy
Supervisor: Associate Director, Brand and Digital Experience
Salary: $16.85 + 4% vacation
Hours: 15 hours per week

Position Summary:
Under the direction of the Associate Director, Digital and Brand Experience, the incumbent assists with various digital communications functions such as providing support on the University Advancement, Alumni and Giving Websites, and providing additional support to ensure the smooth functioning of the unit.
Provides technical support for the Alumni, Giving, and University Advancement website, include reviewing and updating webpages, improving accessibility and ensuring consistent formatting and metadata.
Performs specific web maintenance updates.
Assists the webmaster with collecting and analyzing web analytics and similar data;
The list of functions outlined above is representative and not a complete and detailed list of tasks which may be performed by an incumbent. For example, incumbents may be asked to perform some elements of Communications Assistant level ""A"" tasks in addition to the above listed functions.
Other Qualifying Skills and/or Abilities
Experience working in content management systems (Drupal, Wordpress or other);
Familiarity with WCAG accessibility standards, HTML fundamentals and web content management as well as Microsoft Office 365 are considered strong assets.
Organization and time-management skills
Solid command of the English language; Intermediate French (written).
Must be currently enrolled in a Bachelor's Degree at McGill University
