We have an exciting opportunity for a Lawyer to Associate to join our Insurance team in Perth working with Partners, Rani Aria Retnam and Sue Wilkinson
About the team and the work
You will work closely with highly regarded Partners and Senior Lawyers on a broad range of workers compensation and personal injury matters, providing strategic advice and delivering positive outcomes for employers and insurers.
This role offers the opportunity to manage your own files with increasing autonomy, develop strong client relationships, and gain exposure to complex litigation and dispute resolution matters within a supportive and collaborative team environment.
Ideal for a lawyer looking to accelerate their career within a nationally recognised defendant insurance practice, gaining exposure to high-quality work, outstanding mentoring, and genuine career progression opportunities.

About you
Qualified lawyer with 1–5 years PQE from a reputable firm, ideally with experience in workers compensation, insurance, or personal injury law. Defendant experience is preferred, although strong plaintiff backgrounds will also be considered.
Newly admitted lawyers with pre-admission experience are also encouraged to apply.
Demonstrated ability to manage matters autonomously, build strong client relationships, and provide pragmatic, commercially focused legal advice.
Strong drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills, coupled with excellent attention to detail and a collaborative approach to practice.
