Job Description

As a Security Officer Patrol Driver in Tarrytown, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Front Desk Officer at a healthcare location, you will greet visitors, manage access control and badge processes, monitor entry activity, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. This driving position offers the opportunity to represent Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, and innovative culture while working collaboratively with site personnel and acting with integrity to help maintain a welcoming, secure environment.

What You'll Do:

• Provide exceptional customer service to employees, visitors, patients, contractors, and other guests at a front desk within a healthcare and pharmaceutical location.
• Greet visitors, verify identification and appointments, follow visitor-management procedures, issue access credentials as authorized, and maintain accurate entry records.
• Monitor access to the facility, observe the lobby and adjacent entrance areas, and report unusual activity, access concerns, and security-related incidents to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site-specific procedures and contacting emergency services when directed.
• Support site-specific policies by providing directions, answering routine questions, maintaining a professional front-desk presence, and communicating relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and client representatives.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Possess a valid New York State Security Guard License.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
• Have access control or badge experience, preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
