As a Program Director at Health Connect America, you'll lead the development, growth, and success of programs within your region while supporting the teams who deliver life-changing services every day. Through strategic leadership, operational oversight, staff development, and community partnerships, you'll play a critical role in advancing our mission and expanding access to high-quality care.

 

What You'll Do

 

As a Program Director, you'll oversee both the clinical and operational success of your region while ensuring services are delivered with excellence, integrity, and compliance. Day to day, you can expect to:

• Provide leadership and oversight for regional operations, personnel, service delivery, and program performance while promoting a culture of accountability, collaboration, and excellence
• Recruit, hire, onboard, train, supervise, and develop staff while supporting performance management, professional growth, and workforce planning
• Build and maintain strong relationships with referral sources, community partners, and stakeholders to support program growth, service accessibility, and regional development
• Oversee clinical and operational compliance, including documentation quality, client authorizations, accreditation standards, payer requirements, risk management, and regulatory expectations
• Manage regional financial performance through budget development, payroll oversight, strategic planning, financial reviews, and operational decision-making
• Provide clinical and/or administrative supervision, support staff through client crises and complex situations, and ensure services are delivered effectively and efficiently

This is a dynamic leadership role that combines program management, staff development, business growth, and operational oversight. You'll work closely with clinicians, administrative staff, referral sources, community partners, and organizational leadership to ensure programs are meeting the needs of the communities we serve.

 

Success in this role requires strong leadership skills, sound judgment, effective communication, financial awareness, and the ability to balance multiple priorities. You'll have the opportunity to influence the direction of your region, strengthen team performance, and help expand access to high-quality behavioral health and family services.

 

Whether leading strategic initiatives, developing future leaders, managing program growth, or supporting client care, you'll play a key role in shaping the success of both your team and the families they serve.

Qualifications

We welcome candidates who bring a passion for leadership and service and meet the following qualifications:

General Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in a human services field such as Social Work, Psychology, Sociology, Counseling, Criminal Justice, or a related discipline
• Minimum of five years of experience working with children and families in a community-based setting
• Minimum of two years of supervisory or leadership experience
• Experience managing program operations, staff development, compliance requirements, and community partnerships preferred
• Strong communication, leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and current vehicle insurance required
