Position Summary
We are seeking a Medical Scribe to work closely with physicians and support efficient clinical operations. This role is responsible for documenting patient encounters in real time, maintaining accurate electronic health records, and assisting with scheduling and other clinical administrative tasks.

Key Responsibilities

• Accompany physicians during patient visits and accurately document medical histories, findings, diagnoses, treatment plans, and follow-up instructions. 
• Document procedures, prescriptions, physician orders, laboratory tests, and imaging studies. 
• Maintain accurate, complete, and timely electronic health records. 
• Schedule and reschedule new and existing patient appointments. 
• Manage the patient waitlist by contacting patients when earlier appointments become available. 
• Schedule follow-up appointments at checkout and document any inability to schedule follow-up care. 
• Maintain patient confidentiality and protect sensitive health information. 
• Communicate effectively with physicians, patients, and healthcare team members. 
• Perform other duties as assigned to support clinical operations. 

Qualifications
Required

• High school diploma or GED 
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills 
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills 
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail 
• Ability to accurately document patient care and transcribe medical information 
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office or similar software 
• Ability to maintain patient confidentiality 
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment 

Preferred

• At least 1 year of Medical Scribe or related healthcare experience 
• Experience with electronic health records (EHR) 
• Experience in a physician office or specialty healthcare setting
