Job Description

As a Security Guard Experienced Unarmed Patrol in San Francisco, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a government location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and members of the public while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at government transportation locations.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned facilities, transit-related areas, building perimeters, and surrounding grounds to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and communicating with appropriate personnel and public agencies as needed.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with directions and general information, and report access-control concerns in accordance with site-specific procedures.
• Prepare clear, accurate incident reports, patrol logs, and daily activity documentation, and promptly communicate observations to Allied Universal supervision and designated site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
