Job Description

As a Unarmed Security Officer Graveyard Patrol in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a government location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents. You will respond to security-related concerns, communicate professionally with visitors and staff, and provide exceptional customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or contractors at a government location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and reporting requirements.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other designated areas; observe and report unusual activity, hazards, and/or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Maintain accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation in accordance with site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Experience using alarm panels is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
