Title: CPT-11376 Production Graphic Designer – Signage & Print

Independent Contractor – CPT-11376 Production Graphic Designer – Signage & Print/Marketing VA/Entry-Senior Level(Remote).

Overview

20four7VA is seeking offshore independent contractors to deliver remote services to clients worldwide, with a primary focus on developed markets such as the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, and Australia.

An established Maryland-based signage, printing, and promotional products company is seeking an experienced Production Graphic Designer to support a high-volume operation serving both individual customers and major commercial clients.

This is not primarily a Canva or template-based social media design position. The company needs a designer with practical experience creating, modifying, and preparing professional artwork for physical production, including signs, apparel, promotional products, storefront graphics, and other large-format applications.

The ideal candidate understands vector graphics, print-ready file preparation, scaling, resolution, and the practical differences between artwork that looks good on a screen and artwork that can successfully be produced at commercial scale.

The client has an established industry-specific training program available to help the selected designer learn the company's exact production workflows.

The objective of each engagement is to assist the client in improving business efficiency, enhancing service delivery, or supporting operational functions through high-quality, task-specific services rendered by a qualified contractor.

Scope of Services

Contractors will be required to provide services that align with the following client tasks:

Graphic Design & Artwork Preparation

  • Create and modify customer artwork using Adobe Illustrator and/or CorelDRAW
  • Develop production-ready vector graphics
  • Recreate, clean up, and properly format customer-provided artwork
  • Prepare designs for signs, apparel, promotional products, storefronts, and related applications

  • Maintain efficient turnaround for time-sensitive and rush requests

Production Design Support

  • Verify dimensions, resolution, file type, and other artwork requirements before production
  • Understand when raster artwork must be recreated or converted into vector format
  • Maintain organized working and final production files
  • Follow established naming, storage, and approval processes
  • Learn and follow the company's specific production standards and workflows

Workflow & Communication

  • Communicate clearly with the owner regarding design requirements and questions
  • Learn the company's design style and customer expectations
  • Work from incoming requests with increasing independence as processes are established
  • Prioritize projects according to production deadlines
  • Complete client revisions accurately and efficiently

Each engagement is based on a defined scope of work and is governed by an independent contractor agreement. Services must be performed professionally, with adherence to any timelines, guidelines, and deliverables agreed upon in writing.
