About the Role
As a Finance Business Partner, you will act as a key liaison between Finance and the RFQ teams, supporting business intake, coordinating inputs, utilizing quote tools and processes, and actively participating in cross-functional team meetings. The role reports to the Regional Finance Business Partner or Controlling Director.
What You Will Do

Support Business Case activities from intake to Award, including, but not limited to:
Lead RFQ intake and framing; clarify scope, premises, and exclusions; create and maintain the RFQ status and timeline
Build the BC and validate inputs; reconcile prior revisions and provide variance analysis
Variable cost including Material, Licenses, Manufacturing Labor & Investments, Engineering spend, and Warranty estimates
Commercial inputs including Volume, Pricing, reimbursements and APR/BPI
Consolidate risks and commitments; quantify impacts; validate mitigation plans and maintain maturity ratings within the case
Run scenarios and sensitivities; surface commercial levers and trade-offs; recommend options to CAMs/SBU
Orchestrate cross-functional inputs; ensure systems and tools are setup (ex: TCPCM, Easyplanning P-codes, Salesforce, SharePoint, etc.) and structures are aligned to the baseline
Supporting business case reviews with SBU controlling and CAM stakeholders
Prepare approval materials; coordinate GAR/GRO/VCOM approvals and track conditions to close.
Upon award, reconcile final scope/contract vs. quoted baseline; freeze the baseline and hand over a complete package to execution teams
Ensure RFQ process, tools, and approvals are followed, escalate as necessary
Review and align BC status with Finance Business Partner
Participate in cross-functional collaboration activities
What You Need to Be Successful
Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
3-5 years in project/business controlling, program management, or cost management.
Basic knowledge of automotive RFI/RFQ processes.
Skilled in SAP, financial planning tools, financial modeling, and Excel.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and presentation skills.
Experience with cross-functional collaboration and customer account management.
