Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary quality contact for customers, helping investigate concerns, resolve issues, and drive customer satisfaction.
- Lead quality initiatives including audits, inspections, complaint investigations, corrective actions, and continuous improvement projects.
- Maintain and improve quality management systems, procedures, and documentation to ensure compliance with ISO and customer requirements.
- Analyze quality data and manufacturing trends to identify opportunities for process improvement, defect reduction, and cost savings.
- Coordinate PPAP submissions, quality documentation, and customer-required reports to support new and existing business.
- Manage measurement systems and calibration activities while supporting the effective use of inspection and testing equipment.
- Train and collaborate with cross-functional teams to strengthen quality practices, improve product performance, and achieve operational excellence.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
- Two or more years of experience in quality, manufacturing, process engineering, production, inspection, or a related technical environment.
- Working knowledge of quality tools and methodologies such as root cause analysis, corrective actions, SPC, audits, process improvement, or continuous improvement.
- Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make recommendations that improve product quality and manufacturing performance.
- Strong communication skills with the confidence to work directly with customers, suppliers, operators, engineers, and leaders.
- Self-motivated problem solver who can manage multiple priorities and work independently with minimal supervision.
- Desire to learn and grow in areas such as Lean, Six Sigma, quality systems, auditing, and customer quality management.
