Silvermist Recovery, a Pyramid Healthcare program in Renfrew, PA, is seeking a compassionate, dependable, and motivated Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) to join our 1st Shift team.

As a BHT, you’ll play an important role in supporting clients throughout their residential treatment experience. You’ll help maintain a safe, structured, and therapeutic environment while encouraging clients as they work toward stability and lasting recovery.

What You’ll Do

• Assist with the intake and admission process for new clients

• Monitor and document client behaviors, activities, and progress

• Observe and document client self-administration of medications, as applicable

• Provide client transportation and supervise clients during travel

• Coordinate and oversee daily client activities and programming

• Support individualized treatment goals and care plans

• Respond appropriately to client needs and assist with crisis intervention when necessary

• Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly treatment environment

• Assist with meals and accommodate client dietary needs

• Establish and maintain appropriate therapeutic boundaries

• Follow all staff policies, procedures, and ethical standards

• Complete required training and participate in ongoing professional development

• Perform other duties as assigned to support the program and clients

What We’re Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent required

• Previous behavioral health, healthcare, residential treatment, or related experience preferred

• Valid driver’s license and a safe driving record

• CPR, AED, and First Aid certification, or ability to obtain

• Strong communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills

• Ability to remain calm and respond effectively in crisis situations

• Professionalism, reliability, and a genuine desire to help others

• Familiarity with behavioral health standards and compliance requirements is a plus
