Product Operations Lead
Position Summary
Brown Brothers Harriman is seeking a highly experienced Senior Product Operations Lead to join the Product Transformation Discipline within Investor Services. This role will serve as the owner of the firm's product strategy and management methodology, capability development framework, and knowledge ecosystem.
Working directly for the Product Operations & Best Practices Lead, this individual will be responsible for designing, maintaining, and continuously evolving the methods, tools, frameworks, and learning programs that enable product teams to operate consistently and effectively. The role will act as the steward of product strategy and management best practices, ensuring teams have access to modern methodologies, training, guidance, and market-leading approaches that improve outcomes across the product lifecycle.
This position combines strategic thinking, capability building, research, training leadership, and operational execution. The successful candidate will help establish BBH’s center of excellence for product strategy and management by creating scalable methods, maintaining a best-practice knowledge library, and supporting continuous learning and progression for both global product leadership and the next generation of product talent.
Key Responsibilities
Product Methods & Framework Ownership
- Own and continuously evolve the firm's product strategy and management methodologies, standards, frameworks, templates, and playbooks.
- Research emerging industry practices and recommend enhancements that improve product effectiveness, consistency, and business outcomes.
- Serve as the subject matter expert and advisor on product strategy and management best practices.
Training & Capability Development
- Own the product strategy and management learning curriculum, including training modules, workshops, learning paths, and onboarding programs.
- Design and facilitate training sessions that build product strategy and management capabilities across the organization.
- Measure adoption and effectiveness of training programs and continuously improve content based on feedback and business needs.
Best Practices & Knowledge Management
- Maintain a centralized repository of product methodologies, tools, templates, case studies, and reusable assets.
- Curate and promote leading practices, lessons learned, and success stories to drive consistency and knowledge sharing across teams.
Market Sizing & Strategic Tools
- Develop practical tools and templates that enable teams to discover and assess market opportunities consistently and effectively.
- Own standards, frameworks, and guidance for TAM/SAM/SOM, opportunity sizing, needs/JTBD analysis, assessing willingness to pay and overall business case development.
- Own core standards and methods for early-stage value proposition development, concept prototyping and market testing.
Product Excellence & Continuous Improvement
- Monitor industry trends, benchmark against leading organizations, and identify opportunities to enhance product strategy and management practices.
- Partner with product leaders and teams to drive adoption of methods, improve maturity, and strengthen overall product excellence.
Qualifications
Experience
- Experience in Product Management, Product Operations, Product Excellence, Strategy, Consulting, or a related discipline.
- Demonstrated success developing and implementing product strategy and management methodologies, frameworks, and best practices.
- Experience designing and delivering training, learning programs, or capability-building initiatives.
- Financial services experience preferred.
Skills
- Deep knowledge of modern product strategy and management principles, frameworks, and operating models.
- Strong facilitation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience creating scalable tools, playbooks, training content, and knowledge assets.
- Familiarity with market sizing (TAM/SAM/SOM), business case development, and opportunity assessment.
- Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Salary Range
MA: $130K - $180K base salary + annual bonus target
NY: $130K - $180K base salary + annual bonus target
BBH and its affiliates' compensation program includes base salary, discretionary bonuses, and profit-sharing. The anticipated base salary range(s) shown above are only for the indicated location(s) and may differ in other locations due to cost of living and labor considerations. Base salaries may vary based on factors such as skill, experience and qualification for the role.
