RESPONSIBILITIES:
As part of the Adelante Mujeres Communications & Marketing team, the Marketing Specialist I creates original bilingual marketing, communications, and social media content that promotes organizational programs, strengthens community and donor engagement, and enhances brand awareness. The Marketing Specialist reports to the Director of Communications.
- Independently develops, designs, and produces original bilingual print and digital marketing materials, including graphics, flyers, and social media assets, and creates written content for social media, newsletters, blogs, websites, and other communication channels that align with brand standards to increase awareness and participant participation.
- Leads original photo and video production efforts by capturing visual content, coordinating interviews, and providing translation assistance.
- Partners with program staff and participants to develop impactful stories through interviews, translation, and culturally responsive storytelling.
- Develops and implements bilingual social media strategies and original content in partnership with the Communications & Marketing team.
- Develops website content strategy and independently determines content updates, and website maintenance and optimization using the Squarespace platform.
QUALIFICATIONS:

- A passionate commitment to the goals and mission of Adelante Mujeres and support for immigrant and BIPOC communities
- Minimum of associate degree in marketing, communications, art, journalism, or related field.
- At least two years of graphic design experience; an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may be considered.
- Full professional proficiency in speaking, reading, writing, and understanding both English and Spanish.
- Experience using graphic design platforms such as Adobe Creative Suite and Canva.
- Ability to create and manage digital marketing, social media, and website content while maintaining consistent brand standards.
- Committed to education, social justice, women's empowerment, and the environment.
Additional Requirements:
- Complete Criminal Background Registry
- A valid driver's license, an acceptable driving record, and automobile liability coverage or access to an insured vehicle
- Ability to commute between different local work locations regularly. Day trips and overnight travel are not required.
SALARY & BENEFITS:
- Salary range: $55K-58K, depending on qualifications.
- Classification: Full-time, Salaried
