The Aero Operations Strategy Analyst supports GTS Aero programs through the integration of performance analytics, predictive simulation, and risk management disciplines. The role delivers data-driven insights to identify, assess, monitor, and mitigate program risks across the entire program lifecycle, enabling Project Managers and leadership to make informed decisions. By leveraging quantitative performance indicators, predictive models, and scenario-based analyses, the Analyst evaluates financial, operational, schedule, and execution risks, supports the development of effective mitigation strategies, and provides clear executive-level reporting. Acting as a central analytical resource, the role ensures alignment and consistency between program KPIs, risk indicators, mitigation actions, and strategic decision-making, ultimately enhancing program resilience, predictability, and business performance. 

 

In this role, you will be responsible for:

 

Performance Analysis & Risk Indicators 

  • Analyze program and operational data to support KPI calculation, risk indicators, and overall performance monitoring. 

  • Identify leading indicators that signal emerging risks or deviations from plan. 

  • Link performance trends to risk exposure and mitigation effectiveness. 

Simulation, Scenario & Impact Analysis 

  • Develop whatif simulations and sensitivity analyses to evaluate the impact of risk drivers on cost, schedule, and performance. 

  • Support scenariobased decision making by quantifying potential outcomes and tradeoffs. 

  • Translate simulation results into actionable risk and performance insights. 

Decision Support for Project Managers 

  • Support Project Managers with reporting, dashboards, and datadriven insights. 

  • Provide structured analysis to support program reviews, risk boards, and decision gate discussions. 

  • Enable informed prioritization of mitigation actions and resource allocation. 

Program Risk Management Support 

  • Support GTS Aero program risk management activities across the full program lifecycle. 

  • Assist in the identification, assessment, and monitoring of contractual, financial, schedule, operational, and compliance risks. 

  • Contribute to the maintenance and update of risk registers, including mitigation actions and contingency plans. 

  • Support basic qualitative and quantitative risk analysis, including scenario definition and impact assessment. 

Reporting & Executive Communication 

  • Prepare clear and concise reports and presentations for program leadership and executive stakeholders. 

  • Communicate complex analytical results in a businessoriented and decisionfocused manner. 

  • Support consistent and transparent risk and performance reporting. 

Program Risk Management Support 

  • Support GTS Aero program risk management activities across the full program lifecycle. 

  • Assist in the identification, assessment, and monitoring of contractual, financial, schedule, operational, and compliance risks. 

  • Contribute to the maintenance and update of risk registers, including mitigation actions and contingency plans. 

  • Support basic qualitative and quantitative risk analysis, including scenario definition and impact assessment. 

CrossFunctional Collaboration & Tools 

  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams (finance, engineering, operations, contracts) to improve processes and analytics. 

  • Contribute to the enhancement of datadriven tools, dashboards, and reporting frameworks. 

  • Learn and apply internal systems, risk management tools, and reporting software. 

  • Actively interact and network with global business leaders across the organization. 

Compliance, HS&E and Governance 

  • Apply Health, Safety and Environment (HS&E) standards and procedures in all activities. 

  • Ensure compliance with internal policies, processes, and regulatory requirements. 

  • Support a strong risk culture aligned with safety, compliance, and business integrity.

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Data analysis and business performance analytics. 

  • Basic to intermediate risk analysis methodologies (qualitative & quantitative). 

  • Predictive modeling, simulation, and scenario analysis. 

  • Strong proficiency with analytical tools (advanced Excel, SQL, Python/R, BI tools). 

  • Experience working with cost, schedule, and operational KPIs.

Additional elected or voluntary benefits

The initial pay range for this position will be EUR 45,087 To 83,000

The provisions of Contratto Collettivo Industria Metalmeccanica e della installazione di impianti will be applied to this position. Section VI – Titolo IV of that collective bargaining agreement relates to pay
