- Ensure smooth and efficient operations and information flow, in sync with other departments, such as clearing, ocean freight.
- Supervise and manage warehouse staff and operation.
- Plan the required staffing levels together with the Seniors: Ensure staff usage/cost is efficient and in line with operational volumes.
- Supervise offloading, stacking, packing of the cargo to achieve optimum space utilization and ensure the safety of the warehouse, ensure warehouse plans etc are updated as instructed.
- Execute the instructions to achieve the shift/daily production targets, report as agreed.
- Supervise compliance to SOP’s, work instructions and other requirements from the Management, report back on challenges and shortcomings.
- Ensure compliance of the warehouse, including, but not limited to, OHS, environment, chemical management and Customs requirements.
- Ensure warehouse running costs are controlled within the approval limits.
- Update operational reports as instructed, supervise the operational staff responsible for reporting for timely and correct reports, including but not limited to company digital platforms.
- Track and coordinate the receipt, storage, and timely delivery of supplies
- Check orders, bills, items received, inventory, and deliveries for accuracy
- Ensure the housekeeping and the warehouse state of repair are on acceptable level.
- Perform a daily inspection of the warehouse grounds.
- Plan the number of company equipment in use together with the Seniors and ensure the equipment is used efficiently with optimal fuel consumption; ensure equipment is checked as instructed before/during/after shift.
- Participate in staff Performance Reviews as may be required.
- Identify staff training needs and report to Seniors.
- Ensure personal compliance with the OHS policies and requirements.
- Ensure to follow relevant company policies and procedures.
- Any other reasonable duties assigned by a superior.

| EDUCATION, SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS |
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in relevant field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in logistics or warehousing
- Ability to work in a high-pressure environment
- Ability to work effectively with different cultures.
- Strong personality and communication skills to execute tasks within a required time
- Strong communication and administration skills.
- Self-motivation, leadership and management skills
