We are currently recruiting for an EU Textile EPR Lead (H/F) to join our EU Sustainability team, based in our Paris office. This is an opportunity for someone with experience in sustainability, environmental compliance, regulatory affairs, or Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR), who is excited by the challenge of building and leading a new compliance programme at a European level. You'll thrive in this role if you enjoy translating complex regulations into practical business actions, working across multiple stakeholders and markets, and helping shape UNIQLO Europe's approach to circularity, product compliance, and environmental responsibility.
What you will be responsible for leading UNIQLO Europe's textile Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) programme, ensuring compliance with evolving regulations across multiple EU markets. Working closely with Sustainability, Production, Finance, Legal, local market teams, and Global Headquarters, you will oversee PRO registrations, regulatory reporting, data management, and audit readiness while ensuring consistent implementation across all markets. You will also develop and deliver UNIQLO Europe's textile EPR strategy, support budgeting and cost forecasting, identify opportunities to optimise compliance costs, and contribute to initiatives linked to product durability, traceability, and recycled materials. In addition, you will build strong relationships with PROs, consultants, and industry associations, monitor regulatory developments, and provide clear guidance on associated risks, opportunities, and business impacts.

- 5-7 years' experience in sustainability, environmental compliance, regulatory affairs, EPR, supply chain, or project management.
- Strong understanding of EU environmental legislation, circular economy principles, and product compliance requirements.
- Experience managing complex, cross-functional projects across multiple countries and stakeholders.
- Confident working with large datasets, reporting methodologies, and compliance-related audits.
- Knowledge of EPR schemes, sustainability reporting, certifications, traceability, durability, or recycled materials is highly desirable.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate evolving regulations into practical business processes.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with experience engaging both internal and external stakeholders.
- Highly organised, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving regulatory environment.
- Fluent English is essential; additional European language skills are an advantage.
